  3. Dip the tomatoes into the flour mixture and dust off any excess. Set tomatoes aside.
  4. Whisk egg and milk into the flour mixture and let rest for 10 minutes.
  5. Heat up the oil in a pan or pot to 350 degrees.
  6. Dip the tomatoes into the batter and drip off any excess and start placing them in the hot oil. Cook for 1-2 on each side.
  7. Remove from the oil and place on a resting rack to cool down. Season with salt.
  8. Serve with sauce (I recommend the Blue Crab Remoulade) and garnish with paprika and chopped green onions
